Saturno LED Circular Pendant Light 80cm - Brass

The Saturno is an 80cm diameter circular LED pendant light consisting of a continuous polished brass stainless steel ring with an integrated LED strip running along the inner edge. The ring is suspended on three transparent aircraft cables from a matching brass ceiling canopy, with a maximum drop of 180cm adjustable during installation. The integrated 60W LED runs at 4000K neutral white, providing functional task and ambient light without the warm bias of 3000K or the clinical tone of 5000K+.

Designed for large open-plan living and dining areas, entrance halls with double-height ceilings, and commercial hospitality and office reception spaces, the Saturno works where a single central pendant would be too small and a cluster would overcomplicate the ceiling. The 80cm diameter gives presence above a 2m+ dining table or a 3-4m kitchen island without dominating the full ceiling plane. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor environments only.

The stainless steel construction gives the ring rigidity without excessive weight, and the polished brass plating reflects both the LED output downward and ambient room light back up toward the ceiling. The three-point suspension keeps the ring level and distributes load evenly across the ceiling rose. At 60W total LED output the Saturno delivers usable working light rather than decorative accent, it functions as the primary ceiling light source in rooms up to approximately 20-25m². The brass finish pairs with warm-toned timber, leather and terracotta interiors as well as cooler concrete, steel and stone schemes where a metallic accent is needed.

Is the Saturno dimmable?

The integrated LED is rated at 60W on 220-240V AC. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model and the LED driver in the fitting. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility with your chosen control system.

What ceiling height is needed for the 80cm diameter?

The 180cm maximum drop is adjustable on installation. For positioning above a dining table or kitchen island the ring typically sits 700-900mm above the surface, which requires a ceiling height of at least 2.7m. Higher ceilings up to 3.5m allow the full 180cm drop to be used, giving the ring more visual separation from the ceiling plane.

Can the ring be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating limits the Saturno to dry indoor environments only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms, covered outdoor areas, or any location where moisture or water spray is present.

What size room does the 80cm diameter suit?

The 80cm ring works in rooms from approximately 15m² up to 25m² where it acts as the primary ceiling light source. In larger rooms or rooms with darker finishes a second light source or wall lighting may be needed to avoid dark corners. The ring is proportionally suited to tables 2m+ in length or kitchen islands 3-4m long.
