Description

The Satellite is a 90cm diameter circular suspension light carrying six adjustable LED spotlights on a matt black metal ring frame. Each spotlight head rotates 340° horizontally and tilts 90° vertically on individual pivots, allowing light to be directed independently across a room. The integrated 42W LED module runs at 3000K warm white and is built into the frame, so no separate bulbs are needed.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands, and open-plan living areas where both ambient and directional lighting are needed, the Satellite suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. The adjustable drop (33cm minimum, 120cm maximum) allows the ring to be set 700-900mm above a table surface or higher as a general ceiling feature. The rotating heads make it useful in offices and studios where task lighting needs to shift between different desk positions or wall features throughout the day.

The matt black powder-coated metal frame measures 90cm in diameter with a 120cm length when the spotlights are factored in, giving the fitting a horizontal presence rather than a compact pendant profile. Each spotlight head houses an acrylic lens that diffuses the LED beam while maintaining enough focus for reading and close work. The three-year manufacturer guarantee covers the LED module and the pivot mechanisms.

Can the spotlights be adjusted after installation?

Yes. Each of the six spotlight heads rotates 340° horizontally and tilts 90° vertically on individual pivot joints. This allows the direction of light to be changed at any time without re-wiring or moving the fixture itself.

Is the LED replaceable?

The 42W LED module is integrated into the frame and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use and is covered by Maytoni's three-year guarantee.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop ranges from 33cm to 120cm. For use above a dining table or kitchen island, ceiling heights of 2.7m or above work best to allow the ring to sit 700-900mm above the surface. Lower ceilings can accommodate the fitting if the suspension is set to its minimum drop.

Can it be used on a sloped ceiling?

The Satellite is designed for horizontal ceiling mounting. Installation on sloped ceilings may require an additional adaptor plate to level the suspension point, which is not included with the fitting.
