Description

The Sapphire is a 400mm flush ceiling light with a circular clear glass diffuser worked into a smooth plate and a chrome metal trim. The glass has an internal layer of fine grit that gives the surface texture and depth, diffusing light from three E27 bulbs (sold separately) across the ceiling rather than creating direct glare or visible bulb points.

Designed for rooms with standard or low ceiling heights where a pendant would hang too low, the Sapphire fits flush to the ceiling with minimal projection. The 400mm diameter suits entrance halls, bedrooms, bathrooms (IP20 rated for dry indoor use only), and kitchens where general ambient light is needed without the bulk of a traditional ceiling rose or pendant fitting. The fitting is dimmable when paired with compatible dimmer switches and dimmable E27 bulbs.

The chrome trim provides a clean metallic edge to the glass plate and conceals the fixing points, while the textured interior of the glass softens the light output and hides dust or minor marks that would show clearly on plain smooth glass.
