Description

The Saona Extra Small is a 120mm square flush LED ceiling light with a matt white polycarbonate body housing an integrated 8W LED that produces 680 lumens at 3000K. The square profile projects just 40mm from the ceiling, making it suited to rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m where a deeper pendant or semi-flush would feel oppressive.

Designed for hallways, cloakrooms, en-suites, walk-in wardrobes and smaller bedrooms where general ambient light is needed but ceiling space is limited, the Saona's 110° beam angle distributes light evenly across a 2-3m radius without creating a harsh central hotspot. The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light comparable to halogen, avoiding the clinical tone of cooler LEDs. The non-dimmable driver runs on standard 230V mains.

The matt white finish on the polycarbonate body resists yellowing over time and blends into white or light-coloured ceilings, making the fitting visually recessive rather than a decorative statement. Multiple Saona units can be installed in a row along a hallway or corridor to create evenly-spaced pools of light without wiring separate downlights. At 350g the fitting is light enough to be supported by standard plasterboard ceiling fixings.

Yes. The 40mm projection makes it one of the lowest-profile ceiling lights in the Mantra range. It works well in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2-2.4m where deeper fittings would feel intrusive.

Can it be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED driver is not compatible with dimmer switches. The output is fixed at 680 lumens.

What room size does it suit?

The 680lm output and 110° beam angle provide general ambient light for rooms up to approximately 6-8m². For larger spaces, multiple Saona units can be installed or a larger model from the Saona range can be used.
