Saona Extra Small Round LED Flush Ceiling Light 8W 4000K - White

The Saona Extra Small is a 120mm diameter flush ceiling light with an integrated 8W LED producing 720 lumens of 4000K cool white light through a matt white diffuser. The low 40mm projection from the ceiling makes it suitable for rooms where headroom is limited or where a discreet light source is needed without visual bulk.

Designed for utility areas, small bathrooms, walk-in wardrobes, hallways, laundry rooms, pantries and en-suites, the Saona provides functional task lighting with a 110-degree beam angle that spreads light evenly across a compact space. The cool white 4000K colour temperature gives a neutral, clinical light quality that suits work areas and transitional zones better than living spaces. The fixture mounts directly to the ceiling with a baseplate concealing the wiring, and the white finish allows it to disappear into white or light-coloured ceilings.

The diffuser is a single moulded polycarbonate dome with a slight curve, distributing the LED output without visible hotspots or dark edges. At just 350g the fitting requires no additional ceiling reinforcement and can be fitted to standard plasterboard ceilings with appropriate fixings. The matt white finish resists fingerprints during installation and cleaning. Is the Saona suitable for bathrooms?

The specification table does not list an IP rating, which means it is not certified for wet zones (zones 1 and 2) in bathrooms. It can be used in zone 3 (more than 600mm from a water source) or in rooms with no direct water exposure such as en-suites without baths or showers directly adjacent.

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The LED module is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED carries a typical lifespan of 25,000-30,000 hours, which equates to approximately 10-15 years of typical domestic use at 5-6 hours per day.

What room size does the 720lm output suit?

At 720 lumens, the Saona Extra Small provides adequate task lighting for rooms up to approximately 2-3m², such as small bathrooms, walk-in wardrobes, utility cupboards or hallway sections. Larger rooms would benefit from multiple fittings or a higher-output model from the Saona range.

Is it dimmable?

No. The integrated LED does not support dimming. For dimming capability, a different model or fitting type would be required.
