Description

This scented candle carries the words Santa Baby in a looping red script on its clear votive holder, with the white of the candle showing through behind. It is a small round candle, standing 6.9cm tall and 5.4cm across, so it sits comfortably in the palm of your hand. The lettering has a cheerful retro feel, with a fine white outline that lifts the red and keeps the words easy to read from across the room. Red and white is the classic Christmas pairing, so it settles happily into whatever festive scheme you already have, traditional or playful.

It is a natural fit for Christmas. Light it on the mantelpiece, set it among the plates on the Christmas dinner table, or stand it on a side table in the living room while the presents are being wrapped. Its compact size means it works well in smaller spaces too, such as a hallway console or a coffee table, where a larger candle would crowd the surface. As a Christmas gift it is just the right size for a stocking filler, a Secret Santa present or a cheerful extra tucked into a festive hamper, and the playful words bring a smile before it is even lit.

The words are printed on the outside of the clear holder, which holds the candle neatly as it burns and lets the glow show through. Burn it on a flat, stable surface away from draughts, curtains and anything that might catch, keep it out of reach of children and pets, and never leave a burning candle unattended. Once it has cooled, wipe the outside of the holder with a soft damp cloth. For a finishing touch, set it beside a sprig of holly or a few pine cones on the mantelpiece, or wrap it in tissue with a red ribbon for a little Christmas present that is ready to give.
