Description

The Sambesi is an outdoor wall light built around a clear cylindrical shade held within a rust-finished frame, topped by a rounded carry-style loop. Light comes from a single E27 bulb (not included); the recommended lamp is a 4W LED giving 470lm in a 2700K warm white tone, which glows softly through the open glass for a decorative effect against a façade.

It suits garden walls, porches, doorways and other exterior spots. An integrated twilight sensor switches the light on as daylight fades, and this can be turned off via a built-in switch when it is not wanted. With an IP44 rating, the fitting handles splashing water and general weather exposure on sheltered outdoor walls.

The body is weather-resistant die-cast aluminium in a rust finish, keeping it sturdy outdoors. It measures 12.5cm wide and 33cm tall with a projection from the wall, and weighs 1.1kg. Surface-mounted to the wall, it takes one E27 bulb.
