The Sambatello is a wall spotlight that pairs a round wooden wall plate in a warm brown finish with a silver steel bracket and a silver steel shade. It is 15cm long and 22cm high, and it stands 24cm out from the wall, enough to throw light forward without crowding a narrow hallway or landing. It takes an E27 bulb of up to 40W, and the bulb is not included, so you can choose the brightness and warmth that suit the room. Its IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms, away from steam and splashing water.

The warm wood grain and cool silver steel sit comfortably together, so this spotlight suits a living room, a bedroom, a hallway or a study where you want light aimed exactly where it is needed. A pair works well either side of a bed or a sofa, and a single one above a desk or a reading chair gives a focused pool of light for reading and close work.
