Salvio 15cm Ceramic LED Pendant Light 3W 4200K - Chrome & Black

The Salvio is a 15cm ceramic pendant light with a disc-shaped matt black ceramic shade suspended from a polished chrome ceiling canopy on a black fabric-covered cable. An integrated 3W LED inside the disc casts 250 lumens of 4200K cool white light downwards, providing direct task lighting rather than ambient fill.

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, hallways and reading corners where precise downlight is needed without the warmth of 3000K LEDs, the Salvio suits modern, industrial and minimalist interiors. The 175mm minimum drop allows the pendant to sit close to the ceiling in lower rooms, while the adjustable cable extends to 1175mm for higher ceilings or positions where the light needs to hang lower over a worktop. The 150mm diameter keeps the fitting compact enough to cluster in groups of two or three over a longer island without overwhelming the space.

The matt black ceramic shade absorbs rather than reflects light, preventing glare and keeping the focus on the illuminated surface below. The polished chrome canopy and internal reflector contrast with the black exterior, adding visual weight and directing the LED output downwards. At 0.77kg the fitting has enough mass to hang straight on the cable without swaying. The ceramic construction resists heat buildup and scratching better than painted metal equivalents.

Is the Salvio dimmable?

No. The integrated 3W LED runs at fixed brightness on standard 230V mains and is not compatible with dimmer switches.

What colour is the light output?

The integrated LED outputs 4200K cool white light at 250 lumens. This is cooler and slightly bluer than warm white (3000K), making it better suited to task lighting in kitchens and workspaces than ambient lighting in living rooms or bedrooms.

Can the drop height be adjusted?

Yes. The cable is adjustable between 175mm and 1175mm during installation. Once set, the drop is fixed until the pendant is taken down and re-hung.

Can the ceramic shade be cleaned?

The matt black ceramic exterior can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the ceramic or using household cleaners that may affect the matt finish.
