Description

The Sally is an 85mm diameter recessed downlight with an 11W integrated COB LED rated at 3000K warm white, set inside a die-cast aluminium housing with a black outer trim ring and a white-painted reflector cone. The two-tone finish—black visible rim, white internal cone—creates a defined aperture and increases light output by reflecting more of the LED's emission back into the room.

Designed for plasterboard and suspended panel ceilings in residential and commercial spaces, the Sally installs into a standard ceiling cutout with spring clips holding the housing in place behind the plaster. The 85mm diameter suits corridor spacing of 1.5-2m for general ambient coverage, or tighter 1-1.2m spacing for higher illumination levels in kitchens, retail, and offices. The 11W output provides approximately 800-900 lumens depending on the specific COB module used, comparable to a 60-75W incandescent.

The die-cast aluminium construction dissipates heat efficiently, allowing the LED to maintain consistent output and colour temperature over the rated 30,000-hour lifetime. The black powder-coated trim ring pairs with contemporary, industrial and minimalist interiors where visible ceiling hardware is reduced to clean circular apertures.
