The Sal Small is a 365mm matt white table lamp with a cylindrical GU10 head that pivots on a curved arm extending from a slim vertical stem. The rounded 180mm diameter base provides stability without taking up desk space, while the 14mm stem width keeps the visual profile minimal. The lamp head tilts through approximately 90 degrees, allowing light to be directed onto a desk surface, a bedside book, or upward onto a wall as wash lighting.

Designed for task lighting rather than ambient fill, the Sal suits desks, bedside tables, console tables in hallways, and reading corners where directional light is needed. The compact height works on standard desk surfaces without blocking sightlines and on bedside tables without overwhelming smaller bedroom layouts. The matt white finish pairs with Scandinavian, coastal and light-toned contemporary interiors, while the geometric simplicity of the cylindrical head and circular base suits minimalist schemes.

The lamp accepts a single GU10 bulb (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED wattage and colour temperature based on the task. Most users pair this with a 5-7W warm-white LED for reading or a cooler daylight temperature for desk work. The matt surface on the metal body softens reflections and creates a low-contrast appearance against white or light-coloured walls. Can the lamp head be adjusted?

Yes. The cylindrical head pivots on the curved arm, tilting through approximately 90 degrees from horizontal to near-vertical. This allows the light to be directed onto a desk, a book, or up onto a wall.

Is it dimmable?

No. The Sal does not support dimming. If variable brightness is needed, choose a dimmable GU10 bulb and pair the lamp with a plug-in inline dimmer on the cable, though this setup is not officially supported by Mantra.

What size desk or table does it suit?

The 180mm base diameter and 365mm height suit standard desks, bedside tables and console tables. The compact footprint works well in smaller spaces where a traditional articulated desk lamp would be too large or visually heavy.
