Description

The Sal is a 1010mm linear suspension light with six adjustable spotlight heads mounted on a matt white metal bar, each housing a GU10 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately). Each spotlight head rotates on its mount, allowing light to be directed across kitchen islands, gallery walls, dining tables or workspace surfaces. The 160mm width keeps the bar slender enough to avoid dominating the ceiling plane whilst providing structural rigidity for the six-light array.

Designed for kitchens, home offices, commercial hospitality spaces and gallery settings where adjustable accent lighting is required alongside general ambient light, the Sal pairs task and decorative function. The drop is adjustable between 1000mm and 1500mm on installation, allowing the bar to be positioned 700-900mm above a kitchen island or dining surface depending on ceiling height. The matt white powder-coat finish on the metal bar and spotlight housings provides a neutral backdrop that pairs with contemporary, Scandinavian and minimalist interiors without adding colour contrast.

Each of the six GU10 fittings accepts standard GU10 LED, halogen or compact fluorescent bulbs up to the rated wattage (see Specification). The fixture itself is dimmable when paired with dimmable GU10 bulbs and a compatible trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer — dimmer compatibility depends on the specific bulb chosen, not the fitting itself. The 2kg weight requires a secure ceiling rose fixing capable of supporting the combined load of fitting and cable.
