Description

The Sahara is a 1095mm linear suspension light built around a continuous LED tube housed in an opal white acrylic casing, capped at both ends with polished chrome terminals. The integrated 40W LED runs the full length of the tube and emits 3000lm of 3000K warm white light in a 360° beam pattern, illuminating in all directions rather than projecting downward.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living areas where diffused ambient light is needed across a linear span, the Sahara suspends on two adjustable cables with a drop range of 700-1500mm. This allows the fitting to be positioned 700-800mm above a dining surface for table illumination, or raised to 1200-1500mm for general room ambience in spaces with higher ceilings. The 1095mm length suits tables and islands in the 1600-2400mm range.

The polished chrome end caps reflect and amplify the light emitted by the opal tube, creating a soft glow that extends beyond the physical length of the fitting. The opal acrylic diffuses the LED strip evenly, preventing visible hotspots or striping that can occur with cheaper linear LED designs. At 2.1kg the fitting is light enough to suspend from standard UK ceiling roses without additional structural support, and the slim 70mm width keeps the visual mass minimal despite the substantial light output.
