Description

The Sahara is a 376mm LED wall light with a curved aluminium frame in polished chrome and two frosted polycarbonate diffusers arranged in a flowing, asymmetric wave pattern. The integrated 6W LED system produces 420 lumens at 3000K warm white, controlled by a touch dimmer built into the fitting that cycles through multiple brightness levels with each press.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, and living room accent walls where both ambient and decorative function matter, the Sahara provides vertical wash light across the wall surface rather than direct downlight. The 86mm projection keeps the fitting relatively close to the wall, making it suitable for narrow corridors or spaces where a deeper bracket would intrude. The touch dimmer removes the need for compatible wall switches or separate dimmer modules, as brightness control is handled at the fitting itself.

The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and pairs well with modern and contemporary interiors that use metallic accents elsewhere in the room. The frosted polycarbonate diffusers soften the LED output and prevent visible hotspots, turning the curved panels themselves into the light source. How does the touch dimmer work?

Touch the chrome backplate once to turn the light on. Each subsequent touch cycles through progressively dimmer brightness levels until it reaches minimum, then returns to full brightness on the next touch. Hold your finger on the backplate to turn the light off completely.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The Sahara carries no IP rating and is designed for dry interior locations only. It should not be installed in bathrooms or other damp environments where moisture could enter the fitting.

What direction does the light go?

The Sahara is a wall-wash fitting. Light projects forwards and upwards from the frosted diffusers, spreading across the wall surface rather than illuminating the floor or opposite wall. The 120° beam angle gives wide vertical coverage.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and cannot be replaced. The LED system is rated for approximately 30,000 hours of operation, which equates to around 10 years of typical domestic use at 8 hours per day.
