Description

The Sahara is a 1140mm linear suspension light built around two integrated LED modules housed within frosted white polycarbonate diffusers that alternate with sections of exposed polished chrome aluminium framework. The 36W LED array delivers 2520 lumens at 3000K across a 120-degree beam angle, with the frosted diffusers softening the output into ambient wash light rather than a focused downlight.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and meeting tables where linear coverage is needed, the Sahara's 1140mm length suits tables from 1600-2400mm. The adjustable drop between 1165-1555mm allows the fitting to be positioned 700-900mm above the surface depending on ceiling height. The dimmable LED integrates with trailing-edge dimmers (dimmer sold separately), allowing the output to be reduced from full task brightness down to background ambient levels for evening settings.

The alternating sections of frosted white diffuser and polished chrome frame create a wave-like profile when viewed from the side, with the chrome sections acting as visual separators between the two LED modules. The polycarbonate diffusers are impact-resistant and lighter than glass equivalents, contributing to the overall 1.62kg weight. The rectangular chrome canopy measures 44mm in depth and conceals the wiring and suspension cables at the ceiling fixing point.
