Description

The Saceda is a pendant light with a shade unlike a usual dome or drum: a broad steel disc, folded and curled so that it hangs like the brim of a hat caught in a breeze. The outside is matt black and the inside is a textured gold, so the colour you see changes as you walk around it. It is 80cm long and 55cm wide, with an overall height of 200cm. It takes a single E27 bulb up to a maximum of 60W, and the bulb is not included, so you can choose the warmth and style of lamp you like. Rated IP20, it is made for dry rooms indoors.

Hang it over a dining table, in a living room or above a bed, wherever you want one light to give a room its character. Its size makes it a good fit for a room with space around it, and the black and gold pairing sits comfortably with dark walls, warm woods and brass accents alike. Because it is rated IP20, keep it away from bathrooms, outdoor spaces and anywhere steam or splashes reach. A vintage-style filament bulb looks especially good against the gold inner face, since the open side of the shade leaves the lamp in view.

The body is steel, finished in black and gold, and it hangs from a slim black cord with a round black ceiling canopy and a black cylindrical lamp holder.
