The Sabina is a 570mm table lamp built around an imitation wood base designed to resemble intertwined branches, topped with a 250mm diameter beige linen shade. The base is formed from resin cast to mimic natural wood grain and bark texture, then tied with a rope detail just below the shade mount to reinforce the handcrafted appearance. The linen shade diffuses light from a single E27 bulb (sold separately) to provide soft ambient light rather than directed task lighting.

Designed for bedside tables, side tables next to armchairs, and living room corners where warm ambient light is preferred over overhead fixtures, the Sabina pairs the tactile character of natural materials with the practicality of synthetic construction. The imitation wood does not split, warp or fade in the way natural timber can, making the lamp suited to heated bedrooms and south-facing rooms where UV exposure might otherwise bleach real wood finishes over time. The 570mm height places the base of the shade approximately 420mm above the table surface, which suits standard bedside heights of 600-700mm.

The linen shade is sewn rather than glued, with a reinforced top ring to maintain its tapered drum profile. The fabric weave is loose enough to show texture when backlit but tight enough to prevent hotspots from appearing around the bulb. What bulb does it take?

The Sabina takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient bedside or living room lighting.

Is the base real wood?

No. The base is cast resin finished to mimic wood grain and bark texture. This prevents the warping, splitting and UV fading that can affect natural timber table lamps, particularly in heated bedrooms or south-facing rooms.

Is the lamp dimmable?

Yes, provided you pair it with a dimmable E27 LED bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The lamp itself has no internal dimming electronics — dimming is controlled entirely by the bulb and external dimmer.

How is the shade cleaned?

The linen shade can be vacuumed on a low setting with a brush attachment to remove dust. For spot-cleaning marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water and blot gently. Do not saturate the fabric or use chemical sprays, which can leave watermarks on natural linen.
