Description

The Sabina is a 60cm diameter pendant light built around a tapered brown linen drum shade suspended from an imitation wood canopy. The cable is wrapped in natural-coloured rope with decorative branch-form elements tied into the suspension at intervals, giving the pendant a textured, organic appearance without using actual timber in the structure.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Sabina provides diffused ambient light through its linen shade. The drop is adjustable between 1.2m and 3m on installation, allowing the pendant to be set 700-900mm above a dining table or worktop depending on the room. The 600mm shade diameter suits tables of 1.4-2m length and kitchen islands of 2-2.5m without overwhelming the surface below.

The linen shade is lined internally to prevent light bleed through the weave and creates a soft wash of light downward while concealing the bulb from view at eye level. The imitation wood finish on the canopy and decorative rope wrapping give the fitting a rustic character that pairs with coastal, country and Scandinavian-influenced interiors. The pendant takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately) with no maximum wattage restriction, though most installations use a 10-15W warm-white LED for ambient dining light.
