The Sabina is a 5-light cluster pendant built around an imitation wood branch frame that suspends five natural linen drum shades on individual cable drops. The frame recreates the texture and proportions of natural timber branches, knotted at the joints where each cable emerges. Each shade houses an E27 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately) and the linen diffuses light in a warm, even spread.

Designed for open-plan dining areas, kitchen islands over 2m long, and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Sabina spans 1100mm width and 1500mm length at full extension. The adjustable cable drops allow each shade to be set at different heights during installation, creating layered depth rather than a flat plane. Minimum drop is 1200mm from ceiling rose to the lowest shade base; maximum drop extends to 3000mm for double-height spaces or vaulted ceilings.

The imitation wood finish is a resin composite moulded and textured to replicate light oak or beechwood grain, then stained in a warm brown tone that pairs with both traditional oak furniture and contemporary Scandi-style interiors. The linen shades are stitched drum shapes in natural beige-brown, showing a visible weave texture that softens the light output and reduces glare. At 4.7kg total weight, the pendant requires a ceiling fixing rated for at least 6kg and a standard UK ceiling rose with earth terminal.

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb type chosen. LED E27 bulbs must be marked as dimmable and paired with an LED-compatible trailing-edge dimmer. Traditional incandescent or halogen E27s dim on most standard dimmers, but household LED bulbs often do not unless explicitly rated for dimming.

Is the Sabina dimmable?

Can the shades be adjusted after installation?

The cable drops are set during installation by knotting at the required height. Once installed, the shades cannot be easily adjusted without taking the fitting down and re-knotting the cables.
