Description

The Rosina is a 48cm-diameter crystal chandelier with six G9 lamp fittings arranged on curved polished chrome arms, each surrounded by strands of faceted crystal buttons, 45mm disks and 30mm spheres. The chrome frame supports two tiers of crystal: the upper section drapes crystal strands terminated with flat disks, while the lower tier hangs 30mm crystal balls and single buttons that catch and refract light from multiple angles.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and bedrooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.2m, the Rosina provides both ambient and decorative lighting. The adjustable drop ranges from 680mm minimum to 1630mm maximum, allowing the chandelier to be set at the correct height above a dining table (typically 700-900mm clearance) or in a double-height hallway. The polished chrome finish reflects light across the crystal arrangement, multiplying the output from the six G9 bulbs.

Each of the six lamp positions accepts a G9 bulb up to 10W (bulbs sold separately), giving flexibility to choose between warm-white LED or halogen depending on the desired colour temperature and running cost. The chandelier is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. At 5.8kg, the fitting requires a ceiling rose rated for the combined weight of the chandelier plus the additional load from the chain and bulbs.

What bulbs does the Rosina take?

The chandelier takes six G9 capsule bulbs, each up to 10W maximum. Bulbs are not included. Most users fit warm-white LED G9 bulbs at 2700K-3000K and 4-6W per bulb for dining room use.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable G9 bulbs and connected to a compatible dimmer switch. Check that your dimmer is rated for LED loads if using LED G9 bulbs, as older halogen-only dimmers may flicker or fail to dim correctly.

What drop height suits a dining table?

For a standard dining table, position the chandelier 700-900mm above the tabletop. In a room with 2.4m ceilings, this typically requires the 680mm minimum drop setting. Taller ceilings allow the chain to be extended up to 1630mm for double-height entrance halls.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow bulbs to cool fully. Remove dust with a soft microfibre cloth or feather duster. For more thorough cleaning, wipe individual crystal pieces with a barely-damp lint-free cloth and distilled water, then dry immediately to prevent water spots. Avoid spray cleaners, which leave residue.
