Description
The Rosina is a 42cm-diameter crystal chandelier with five G9 bulb fittings arranged on curved polished chrome arms, surrounded by cascading strands of cut crystal buttons, 45mm disks and 30mm crystal balls. The upper arms carry crystal strands terminating in larger disks, while the lower arcs are dressed with smaller crystal balls and single button droplets, creating layered refraction when lit.
Designed for compact spaces where a traditional chandelier would overwhelm, the Rosina suits bedrooms, dressing rooms, smaller dining rooms, and hallways with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. The 490mm minimum drop places the bottom crystal approximately 2m above floor level at installation, with the adjustable chain allowing drops up to 1490mm for taller entrance halls or stairwell positions. The polished chrome canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses.
The polished chrome frame provides a mirrored surface that multiplies light output from the five G9 bulbs and reflects the crystal facets, giving the chandelier presence beyond its 42cm diameter. The frame's curved arms hold the bulbs inside the crystal dressing rather than below it, so the bulbs remain partially visible through the crystal and contribute to the overall sparkle. At 4kg the chandelier requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or reinforced rose.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Rosina take?
The chandelier takes five G9 capsule bulbs, each up to 10W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED G9 bulbs at 2700K-3000K for a traditional chandelier glow. Dimmable bulbs are required if using a dimmer switch.
What ceiling height is needed?
The 490mm minimum drop suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, placing the lowest crystal approximately 1.9-2.0m above floor level. The chain can be extended to 1490mm for taller entrance halls or stairwell positions where the chandelier needs to hang lower.
Is the crystal real or acrylic?
The crystal droplets, disks and balls are cut crystal glass, not acrylic. This gives sharper refraction and heavier weight than plastic alternatives. The crystal is hand-strung onto the chrome frame during assembly.
Can it be fitted to a standard ceiling rose?
Yes. The polished chrome canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses. At 4kg the chandelier requires secure fixing into a ceiling joist or reinforced rose — consult a qualified electrician if the existing ceiling rose is mounted only into plasterboard.
