The Rose is a 650mm ceiling fan light with four retractable blades that fold into a white circular housing when the fan is off, leaving a clean disc profile against the ceiling. An integrated 49W LED provides 2000 lumens of dimmable light, tuneable between 2700K warm white and 5000K daylight using the included remote control. The DC motor drives the blades at variable speeds while remaining near-silent in operation.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and open-plan spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Rose combines ambient lighting and air circulation in a single fitting. The retractable blade mechanism means the fan presents as a low-profile ceiling light when not in use, making it suitable for rooms where a traditional fan with exposed blades would feel visually heavy. The remote allows independent control of light brightness, colour temperature, and fan speed without needing a separate wall switch.

The white finish is a smooth matt coating over the metal housing and ABS blades, designed to blend with white or light-toned ceilings. When the fan is active, the four blades extend to their full span and create downward airflow for cooling or can be reversed for winter circulation. The 210mm overall height from ceiling to bottom of the housing means the fitting projects less than standard pendant lights, keeping headroom clear. The integrated LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use and cannot be replaced — the entire unit is replaced at end of life.

How does the retractable blade mechanism work?

When the fan is switched off via the remote, the blades fold inward and tuck into recesses within the circular housing, leaving a low-profile disc shape. When the fan is activated, the blades extend outward to their full span. The mechanism is motorised and requires no manual adjustment.

Is the DC motor genuinely quiet?

The DC motor is rated as near-silent during operation. At low and medium speeds, most users report no audible noise. At high speed, there may be a slight hum from airflow rather than mechanical noise, but it remains quieter than traditional AC motor fans.
