Description

The Rosa is a 46cm table lamp built from a polished copper dome shade mounted on a slim copper stem and rounded cylindrical base. The dome measures 28cm across and sits open at the bottom, directing light downward through the open underside while the curved interior catches and reflects the bulb's glow back across itself. A single E27 lamp holder sits at the centre under the shade, with an inline switch on the side of the base.

Sized for bedside tables, console tables, sideboards and home office desks, the Rosa works as task lighting for reading and as a warm accent light in living rooms and hallways. The downward-throwing dome puts useful light onto a book or work surface within roughly a 50-60cm radius, while the polished copper interior softens the spread and tints reflected light a warm pink-gold. The lamp suits surfaces with at least 30cm of clear depth.

The all-copper construction gives the lamp a substantial weight that resists knocks on a bedside table, and the high-polish finish on both the dome and the base keeps the form visually consistent from every angle. The Rosa uses a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. A 6-8W warm-white LED filament bulb at 2700K pairs well with the polished copper interior and gives a comfortable reading-level brightness.

Is the Rosa dimmable?

The lamp itself uses a standard E27 holder with an inline switch, so dimming depends on the bulb fitted and any external dimmer plug or wall dimmer used. Pair a dimmable LED bulb with a compatible dimmer to vary brightness.

How much surface space does it need?

Copper is a natural living finish. Over years of exposure to air the polished surface may develop very subtle tonal shifts. Wipe occasionally with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to keep the polish even, and avoid abrasive cleaners or acidic sprays.
