Description
The Rosa is a 64cm diameter chandelier with six arched arms radiating from a telescopic central column, each arm holding a G9 bulb inside a frosted and clear glass shade. The antique brass finish on the metalwork has a warm, slightly aged tone that softens reflections and pairs comfortably with both traditional and contemporary interiors. The telescopic column adjusts between 490mm and 770mm drop, allowing the fitting to work as a semi-flush light close to the ceiling or as a suspended chandelier in rooms with higher ceilings.
Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and entrance halls with ceilings between 2.4m and 3.5m, the Rosa provides ambient and decorative lighting across a 3-4m span. The six G9 bulbs (sold separately) sit inside frosted glass cups that diffuse the light outward and downward, reducing glare while maintaining brightness. The fixture is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 lamps and a compatible dimmer switch, giving control over light intensity for different times of day.
Each glass shade combines frosted and clear sections, creating a layered visual effect when lit — the frosted centre diffuses the bulb's brightness while the clear outer edges allow some direct light through. The arched brass arms curve outward and upward from the central hub, giving the chandelier a sculptural presence even when unlit. At 3.6kg the fitting has enough weight to sit securely on the ceiling rose without additional bracing, and the 64cm diameter works in rooms where a full-width chandelier would overpower the space.
The antique brass finish is applied over a steel frame and develops a patina over time depending on room humidity and air quality. The telescopic mechanism uses a threaded rod system that locks at the desired drop height during installation, with cable management inside the column to keep wiring concealed. Mantra supplies the Rosa from Spain, and the fixture carries a 1-year manufacturer warranty.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Rosa take?
The chandelier uses six G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair it with 3-5W LED G9 bulbs at 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light. The total wattage depends on the bulbs chosen — six 5W LEDs would draw 30W combined.
How is the drop height adjusted?
The central column telescopes between 490mm and 770mm. The drop is set during installation by adjusting the threaded rod mechanism and locking it at the desired height. Once locked, the cable is managed inside the column to keep it concealed.
Can it be fitted to a low ceiling?
Yes. At the minimum 490mm drop the Rosa works as a semi-flush fitting in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upward. The 64cm diameter requires adequate clearance from walls and furniture — typically 60-80cm on all sides.
Is the antique brass finish lacquered?
The finish is applied over steel and may develop a natural patina over time depending on room conditions. This is characteristic of antique brass and not a defect. The finish can be polished if a brighter tone is preferred.
