Description

The Ronarne is a fabric pendant light in black, built around a drum shade with a layered look. A solid band of black fabric sits between two open lattice rings, so the shade has depth and texture rather than one flat surface, and the open rings keep the top and bottom edges light to the eye. The body is black steel, and the light hangs on a slim black cord from a round ceiling canopy. The shade is 40cm across and the whole light is 110cm tall overall. It takes a single E27 bulb of up to 40W, and the bulb is not included, so the colour of the light is your choice. Rated IP20, it is made for dry rooms indoors.

Hung over a dining table, it gives the table a clear centre, and at 40cm across it suits a living room, a hallway, a landing or a bedroom without crowding the space. The all black finish sits well in a monochrome scheme and against pale walls, where the lattice pattern shows up best. Because it is switched at the wall, there is no pull cord or inline switch to find in the dark; your existing wall switch controls it.
