The Rome chandelier carries thirteen glass globes on brass arms that reach out on two tiers, so the light comes from many points at once rather than from one central shade. It is a big fitting, 84cm tall and 124cm across, and it hangs from the ceiling on 1m of cable and chain as standard. It comes in Polished Brass, Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Natural Brass or Satin Brass, with your choice of Clear or Opal glass globes. Clear globes let you see each bulb and give a bright, sparkling light, while Opal globes give a softer, more even glow.

With thirteen lights and a width of 124cm, this is a chandelier for a generous room. Hang it over a large dining table, where the globes spread light across the whole table and everyone around it, or at the centre of a spacious living room where it can be the main light. The 1m of cable and chain sets how far it hangs below the ceiling, so it suits rooms with good ceiling height. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. Choose the finish to match the brass or silver tones already in the room.

Every Rome chandelier is made to order for you in Ireland, in brass and glass. It takes thirteen E27 bulbs, up to 40W per bulb, and the bulbs are sold separately. It is a Class I mains fitting, for a qualified electrician to wire in. The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase, and bulbs are not covered. Before you order, measure your room and ceiling height: at 84cm tall, on 1m of cable and chain, it needs clear space beneath it, so plan for it to hang well above head height over a table or in the middle of the room.
