The Rombos is a 750mm rectangular flush ceiling light with a white frame built from alternating raised and recessed geometric panels that create a faceted surface texture. An integrated 60W LED behind the central acrylic diffuser delivers 4500lm through the flat centre panel, while the sculpted border adds architectural depth without dropping below the ceiling plane. The light includes a remote control for CCT dimming between 3000K and 6500K.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms, open-plan kitchen-diners and hallways with ceiling heights from 2.3m upwards, the Rombos provides main room lighting where both output and visual interest are needed. The 750 x 500mm footprint suits spaces of 15-25m² where a single central fitting provides primary illumination. The tuneable CCT function allows warm white at 3000K for evening relaxation or cool white at 6500K for task-focused daytime use, controlled via the included remote.

The white finish on the geometric frame reflects light across the faceted surfaces, creating shadow and highlight variation as the viewing angle changes. The raised panels sit approximately 30-40mm proud of the recessed sections, giving the frame visible depth when viewed from an angle rather than appearing flat. Running the LED at 3000K in the evening lowers the perceived brightness compared with the same 4500lm at 6500K, since warmer tones read as softer to the eye across the 750 by 500mm panel.

How is the colour temperature controlled?

The Rombos includes a remote control that allows you to adjust the colour temperature between 3000K warm white and 6500K cool white. The remote also controls dimming from 100% down to approximately 5% minimum brightness. The remote operates via radio frequency so does not require line-of-sight to the fitting.

What room size does it suit?

The 4500lm output at 100% brightness suits rooms of approximately 15-25m² as a primary ceiling light. Larger rooms may benefit from two fittings or supplementary task lighting. The rectangular shape works particularly well in hallways or galley-style rooms where the 750mm length can be oriented along the longest wall.

Can it be fitted to plasterboard ceilings?

At 4.7kg the Rombos requires secure fixing. On plasterboard ceilings use either a joist-mounted fixing or a cavity fixing rated to at least 10kg to provide adequate safety margin. Direct fixing to solid ceilings using appropriate plugs and screws is acceptable.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for 25,000+ hours of operation, which equates to approximately 10-15 years of typical residential use at 4-6 hours per day. The fitting carries a 3-year manufacturer warranty.
