Description

The Roller is a 7.7cm spherical LED pendant light from Mantra, pairing a coffee-toned metallic globe with a matt black cylindrical ceiling canopy and cable. A 12W integrated LED inside the globe casts 1000lm of 3000K warm white light through a clear lens opening at the base, creating a 50° beam spread that works as directed downlight or ambient light depending on mounting height.

Designed for kitchens, utility rooms, corridors and bathrooms where compact overhead lighting is needed without large fittings, the Roller works individually over sinks and vanities or in multiples above kitchen islands and breakfast bars. The 190mm minimum drop suits standard 2.4m ceiling heights, while the 2000mm maximum allows the pendant to be lowered in double-height spaces or vaulted ceilings. The coffee finish is a mid-toned metallic brown with a satin sheen that reflects ambient light without glare.

The globe measures 77mm in diameter, roughly the size of a tennis ball, giving the pendant a small footprint that works in tight spaces where larger pendants would dominate. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and delivers consistent 3000K output for the life of the fitting. The clear lens at the base of the globe directs most of the 1000lm output downward, making the Roller more suited to task lighting than full-room ambient use. The 1kg weight allows installation on standard ceiling roses without reinforcement.

No. The integrated 12W LED is non-dimmable and delivers fixed 3000K output. Attempting to use this pendant on a dimmer circuit may cause flickering or damage to the LED driver.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 190mm minimum drop suits standard 2.4m ceilings for general use. Over a worktop or vanity the pendant typically sits 600-800mm above the surface, which requires ceiling heights of 2m or above depending on the task.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The specification table does not list an IP rating, so the Roller is not certified for bathroom zones requiring moisture protection. Use only in dry areas or zones outside the reach of water spray.

How is the coffee finish maintained?

The coffee metallic finish is powder-coated metal. Wipe with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For marks, use a barely-damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that can damage the powder coat.
