Description

The Rocio is a 6-light semi-flush ceiling light built around a circular polished chrome canopy from which six teardrop-shaped bubble glass shades descend on short chrome stems. Each shade contains an integrated LED element (total 29W across all six), casting 3000K warm white light through the textured glass, which diffracts and scatters the light into soft reflections across the ceiling and surrounding walls.

Designed for low to medium ceiling heights (2.4-2.8m), the Rocio projects 26cm below the ceiling rose, making it suitable for bedrooms, hallways, landing areas and compact living rooms where a semi-flush fitting provides decorative impact without the drop of a full pendant. The fitting includes both TRIAC and 0-10V dimming support, a plug-in dimmer module and a wireless remote control, allowing brightness adjustment without rewiring existing switches. Gravity toggles are supplied for fixing to plasterboard ceilings.

The bubble glass effect is created by trapped air pockets within each teardrop shade, giving each piece a different internal pattern. The chrome finish is a high-polish plate over a metal base, which pairs well with cooler contemporary interiors, grey-toned schemes and chrome bathroom fittings where IP rating allows. The 32cm diameter canopy covers a standard UK ceiling rose with a single live, neutral and earth connection. At 6.47kg total weight the fitting requires secure fixing into a joist or use of the supplied gravity toggles rated for the load.

Yes. The integrated LED supports both TRIAC and 0-10V dimming protocols. A plug-in dimmer module and wireless remote control are included in the box, allowing brightness adjustment without changing existing wall switches.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The fitting projects 26cm below the ceiling rose. This works well in rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 2.8m where a semi-flush provides decorative impact without the longer drop of a pendant light.

Can it be fitted to a plasterboard ceiling?

Yes, provided the correct fixings are used. Gravity toggles rated for the 6.47kg weight are included in the box. Where possible, fix directly into a ceiling joist for maximum security.
