Description

The Riven is a single light pendant with a wide, linear form and a warm champagne bronze finish. Clear fluted glass runs the length of the fitting, wrapping around a white acrylic diffuser that softens the built-in LED. The result is an even wash of light rather than a single hard point, with the fluting adding gentle texture and a little sparkle across the surface. It draws on the shape of a vintage map bag, which gives it a long horizontal line that sits well over a table or an island.

This is an interior fitting, so it suits kitchens, dining rooms and open-plan living spaces where you want a broad spread of light from one central point. It works particularly well above a dining table or a kitchen island, where its width can echo the run of the surface below. The drop is adjustable, so you can hang it high in a room with tall ceilings or bring it lower over a table for a more intimate feel. Two pairs of rods are supplied to help you set the height you need.

The frame is made from steel with clear fluted glass and an acrylic diffuser inside. The LED is integrated rather than a separate bulb, and it runs at a warm 3000K with a bright output, so no lamp is included or needed. Because the light source is built in, the colour of the light stays consistent and there is no bulb to source or replace. It is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch. This is a Class I mains-voltage fitting and comes with a two year guarantee. To clean, switch off, let it cool and wipe the glass and metal with a soft, dry or barely damp cloth, avoiding sprays and abrasive cleaners.
