Description
The Rinvessa is a five-blade ceiling fan with a light at its centre, built around a steel body in a satin nickel finish. It measures 132cm in diameter and 40.5cm tall, so it covers a generous span of ceiling. The blades carry a warm brown wood-effect finish that sits well against the soft metallic sheen of the body, and a white painted glass bowl closes the base to diffuse the light. That light uses an E14 bulb at a maximum of 60W; the bulb is not included, and the light is not dimmable. Rated IP20, the fan belongs indoors in a dry room, so it is not one for a bathroom or a covered porch.
Hang it in a living room, a bedroom or a dining room, anywhere indoors and dry where you want moving air and light from a single ceiling point. Three speeds let you choose between a gentle stir of air on a mild evening and a stronger breeze on a hot afternoon, and the fan is reversible. Because fan and light share one fitting, the room needs no separate pendant and the ceiling stays tidy. We think the wood-effect blades bring warmth to pale walls and light timber furniture, while the satin nickel sits comfortably beside brushed metal handles and lamp bases.
The cord switch is worked by the two pull chains that hang beneath the housing, each finished with a wooden-look pull that is easy to grip. The fan runs on 220 to 240V mains at 50Hz and, as a wired-in fitting, is installed by a qualified electrician. It weighs 6.656KG packed, and the installation instructions are available as a download. Have an E14 bulb of no more than 60W ready before fitting day, and you will have air and light the same evening.
