Description

The Rimini is a three-light wall fitting with curved satin chrome arms that fan out from a rounded backplate, each arm supporting a tulip-shaped opal glass shade. Three G9 halogen bulbs are included with the fitting, each housed in a shade that diffuses light through frosted white glass. The satin chrome finish gives a brushed, low-sheen surface that reduces glare under daylight and artificial light.

Designed for hallways, living room accent walls and either side of a bed or sofa, the Rimini provides ambient rather than task lighting. The 500mm vertical spread of the arms covers enough wall height to balance visually against a standard door frame or artwork, while the 110mm projection keeps the fitting clear of head height when mounted at 1.8-2m above floor level. The curved arms introduce movement without needing mechanical adjustment once fitted.

The opal glass shades soften the G9 bulb filaments and spread light outward and upward, casting gentle illumination onto adjacent wall surfaces rather than projecting a focused beam. The satin chrome complements cool greys, whites and contemporary neutrals, while the opal white glass pairs comfortably with warmer wall tones. Each fitting weighs 1kg and fits a standard UK wall box with earth, live and neutral connections.

Are the bulbs included?

Yes. The Rimini comes with three G9 halogen bulbs rated at 40W each. These are dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch.

Can I use LED G9 bulbs instead?

Yes. Any standard G9 LED bulb will fit the sockets. LED G9 bulbs typically run cooler and use less power than the included halogens, and many are also dimmable if you choose a dimmable-rated LED.

What room height does it suit?

The 500mm vertical spread of the fitting works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. When mounted at 1.8-2m above floor level, the 110mm projection keeps the shades clear of head height in circulation areas.

Is the satin chrome finish lacquered?

Satin chrome is typically a plated finish over the base metal frame. It has a brushed, low-sheen appearance and can be wiped clean with a dry microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishes that may damage the plating.
