Description

The Maytoni Rim is a 240mm round ceiling canopy designed to support two pendant lights from a single ceiling rose point. The canopy is pressed from a single sheet of metal with a brass finish, featuring two cable outlet points positioned symmetrically across the disc for balanced clustering of pendants. At 2mm thick, the canopy sits flush to the ceiling once fitted, concealing the ceiling rose and wiring behind the brass disc.

Designed for multi-drop pendant installations above dining tables, kitchen islands and in entrance halls, the Rim allows two separate pendant cables to drop from a single ceiling point without visible junction boxes or exposed wiring. The 240mm diameter gives enough spread to balance two pendants at 150-200mm separation, while remaining small enough not to dominate the ceiling in typical 3-4m rooms. The canopy fixes directly over a standard UK ceiling rose using the existing fixing screws.

The brass finish on the metal provides a warm mid-tone that pairs with both antique brass and polished brass pendant fittings, as well as mixed-metal schemes combining brass with black or chrome elements. The finish is applied as a plated coating over the base metal, giving consistent colour across the disc. The canopy weighs approximately 300g and can support the combined weight of two typical pendant lights up to 2kg each when correctly fitted to a ceiling joist or secure ceiling rose anchor.

Does it come with cable and ceiling rose fixings?
