Description

The Riley is a 270mm wide rectangular wall light with a faux silk ivory shade mounted on a polished chrome backplate. The shade measures 230mm tall and projects 128mm from the wall, housing a single E27 bulb fitting rated to 60W. The square-edged form and polished chrome finish suit contemporary and minimalist interiors where clean lines are preferred.

Designed as ambient lighting for living rooms, hallways, bedrooms and hotel corridors, the medium size provides general illumination without dominating the wall. The faux silk shade diffuses light evenly to reduce glare, while the polished chrome backplate reflects both daylight and artificial light to increase perceived brightness. The 128mm projection means the fitting sits clear of typical baseboards and works well over side tables or flanking a bed headboard.

The ivory shade fabric softens the light output to warm tones even when paired with cooler LED bulbs, helping to balance the reflective chrome finish. The rectangular form works in pairs on either side of a mirror, fireplace or architectural feature, or as a solo fitting where a horizontal accent is needed. The E27 socket accepts any standard screw-fit bulb, allowing the light temperature and brightness to be adjusted to suit the room.
