Description

The Reno is a single pendant light with a cylindrical smoke glass shade suspended from a polished nickel canopy and rod. The 155mm-diameter shade is mouth-blown from optical glass with a grey-smoke tint, creating a translucent diffuser that softens the output of an E27 bulb (sold separately) while retaining visible filament detail when lit with a clear or vintage-style bulb.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and entrance halls with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.5m, the Reno pairs ambient and task lighting function. The adjustable 2293mm drop allows the pendant to be set 600-800mm above a worktop or 700-900mm above a dining table depending on ceiling height. The polished nickel canopy and internal bulb holder reflect light back through the glass, while the smoke tint reduces glare and adds a cooler tone to warm-white LED or filament bulbs.

The cylindrical shade measures 348mm tall and 155mm in diameter, giving a vertical proportion that works singly over a narrow surface or in a run of two or three over a longer island or table. The polished nickel finish pairs with contemporary chrome taps and handles, brushed steel appliances, and cooler-toned interiors. Mouth-blown glass production means each shade shows slight tonal variation in the smoke tint and minor bubble inclusions typical of hand-crafted glasswork.
