Remyck 1 Light Pendant - Matte Black

The Remyck is a single-pendant light built around a conical matte black metal shade that sits over a spherical opal glass diffuser. The cone measures 343mm across the base and projects downwards 320mm, with the opal sphere visible beneath the open bottom. The pendant hangs on a fabric-covered drop cord from a matt black ceiling rose and takes a single E27 bulb rated up to 60W.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and hallway positions with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.5m, the Remyck works both solo and in multiples spaced 600-900mm apart. The drop is adjustable between 457mm minimum and 2219mm maximum, with the cord length set during installation. At minimum drop the pendant sits approximately 780mm from ceiling to base; at maximum drop it extends to 2540mm. For a standard 2.7m-high dining room the pendant typically hangs 700-800mm above the table surface.

The matte black powder-coated finish absorbs light rather than reflecting it, giving the cone a flat graphical presence against white ceilings. The opal glass sphere diffuses the bulb output evenly in all directions while the cone directs light downwards and creates a visible warm glow on the interior copper-toned metal. The combination of downward task light and diffused ambient light makes the Remyck practical for both eating and working surfaces. The 343mm diameter suits table widths from 900mm to 1800mm without overwhelming the space.

What bulb does it take?

The Remyck takes a standard E27 bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED filament bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for dining or kitchen island use.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

The drop height is set during installation by trimming the fabric cord to the required length between 457mm and 2219mm. Once installed and the ceiling rose fixed in place, the drop cannot be easily adjusted without removing the pendant and re-threading the cord.

Does the opal glass diffuse light in all directions?

Yes. The spherical opal glass diffuser sits beneath the open cone and spreads light evenly in all directions. The cone itself directs additional light downwards while the interior copper tone creates a warm reflected glow when lit.

Can multiple Remyck pendants be installed in a row?

Yes. For kitchen islands and long dining tables, spacing multiple Remyck pendants 600-900mm apart creates even light distribution. The 343mm diameter allows close spacing without visual crowding on islands 1.8m or longer.
