Description
This brushed silver hip flask carries the Red Arrows across its front, with RED ARROWS printed in tall red letters above two of the team's red jets. One jet is seen from above with its wings spread, and the other flies in profile beneath it, ROYAL AIR FORCE along its side and a Union flag on its tail. The flask is made from iron and steel in a silver finish, rectangular with softly rounded edges, and holds 6oz. It measures 11.5cm tall, 9cm wide and 2cm deep.
We think it makes a fine Father's Day gift, the sort of present that gets kept and carried rather than forgotten in a drawer. At just 2cm deep it lies flat in an inside coat or jacket pocket, ready for a winter walk, a day out or a long afternoon in the cold, and 6oz is a sensible measure to carry. The printed jets give it far more character than a plain flask, and between outings it looks smart on a shelf or a desk, a bright nod to the red jets in formation.
The knurled screw cap is easy to grip and is fixed to the shoulder on a hinged arm, so it swings aside when you open the flask and stays with it rather than rolling away. Its top carries a red, white and blue roundel to match the jets. As general good practice, we rinse the inside with warm water after use and leave it to dry with the cap open, then wipe the outside with a soft damp cloth and dry it to keep the print and the brushed finish looking their best. Tucked into tissue paper with a card, it makes a ready gift for Father's Day morning.

Frequently Asked
How much does this Red Arrows hip flask hold?
It holds 6oz. That is a sensible amount for a walk or a day out, and the flask still stays slim enough at 2cm deep to sit flat in a pocket.
How big is the hip flask?
It measures 11.5cm tall, 9cm wide and 2cm deep. That size slips comfortably into an inside coat or jacket pocket.
What is the hip flask made of?
It is made from iron and steel in a brushed silver finish. The Red Arrows lettering and the two red jets are printed on the front.
Can the cap come off and get lost?
The knurled screw cap is fixed to the shoulder of the flask by a hinged arm. When you unscrew it, it swings aside and stays attached rather than rolling away.
How should I look after the flask?
As general good practice, rinse the inside with warm water after use and let it dry with the cap open. Then wipe the outside with a soft damp cloth and dry it.
Does it make a good Father's Day gift?
We think so. The printed Red Arrows jets, the roundel on the cap and the pocket size make it a thoughtful Father's Day present that will be carried and enjoyed.
