Description

The Rectory is a 2-light wall light hand-forged from solid wrought iron, finished in matt black. Two scroll arms curve outward from a central diamond-shaped backplate, each terminating in a drip-pan candle holder with an upward-facing E14 bulb socket. The iron shows visible hammer marks and texture from the forging process, giving each fitting slight variation in the scroll detail and surface finish.

Designed for traditional, country and rustic interiors, the Rectory suits hallways, dining rooms, stairwells and bedroom alcoves where wall-mounted candle-style lighting adds period character. The 2-light configuration provides enough output for ambient lighting in smaller spaces or layered accent lighting in larger rooms when used in multiples. The backplate mounts directly to a standard UK wall box, with the arms projecting approximately 200mm from the wall.

The black finish is achieved through a powder-coat process over the raw iron, sealing the metal against moisture and giving a consistent low-sheen surface. The wrought iron construction provides weight and rigidity — the fitting has a substantial presence on the wall without appearing oversized. Each scroll arm supports a cream or ivory candle-sleeve (included), designed to hold E14 candle bulbs up to 40W (bulbs sold separately).
