Description

The Ravine is a 412mm outdoor wall lantern in a western bronze finish with a tapered glass lantern cage framed by metal edges and topped with a decorative ring detail. The lantern takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately) behind bevelled clear glass panels, which show the bulb directly while the faceted glass edges soften glare at viewing angles.

Designed for front doors, porch walls, garage entrances and pathway lighting where traditional lantern styling is preferred, the Ravine projects 235mm from the wall and carries an IP44 rating for protection against splashing water from any direction. The western bronze finish is a deep brown-bronze tone with subtle tonal variation across the metalwork, darker than standard oil-rubbed bronze and closer to aged copper in hue. The 203mm width and depth suit standard door surrounds and porch columns without overwhelming smaller residential entrances.

The metal frame is steel finished in powder-coated western bronze, which resists corrosion and UV fading in outdoor conditions. The bevelled glass panels sit in a zinc die-cast housing with a silicone seal to maintain the IP44 rating over time. Pairing the lantern with a decorative filament LED bulb (ST64 or G95 profile) shows the bulb as a feature through the clear glass, while a standard frosted LED or CFL keeps the light source less visible.
