Description

The Randhurst is a 510mm outdoor wall lantern with a copper oxide finish over a composite frame, fitted with three E14 candle bulb sockets behind clear seeded glass panels. The lantern draws from antique gas lamp design with exposed rivets, stepped detailing and open vents at the crown, but uses modern weatherproof composite materials rather than metal to resist corrosion in coastal and high-moisture environments.

Designed for exposed exterior positions including front doors, garage entrances and covered patios, the Randhurst carries an IP44 rating allowing it to be installed in positions exposed to rain splash and windblown moisture. The seeded glass diffuses the light from the three candle bulbs without obscuring it entirely, creating a scattered glow across rendered walls and paving. The 219mm projection from the wall gives clearance to mount the lantern alongside wider door frames or over benches.

The composite construction handles temperature swings, UV exposure and salt air better than painted steel or aluminium, with no risk of rust bloom or flaking finish over time. The copper oxide finish gives a weathered patina appearance from new, so surface variations are deliberate rather than defects.
