Rafaga RGB LED Ceiling Fan Light Retractable Blades Remote Control - White

The Rafaga is a ceiling fan light with retractable blades housed inside a 495mm circular white frame, fitted with an integrated 80W LED array delivering 3200lm and an RGB accent ring around the perimeter. The LED colour temperature is tuneable from warm 3000K to cool 6500K via the included remote control, and the RGB ring can be set to any colour independently for mood or accent lighting.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and kitchens with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Rafaga combines ambient LED downlight with variable-speed fan cooling. When the fan is inactive the four blades retract into the housing, leaving only the 495mm circular frame visible. When activated the blades extend outward to a 1060mm swept diameter, powered by a DC motor rated for quiet operation. The remote control adjusts fan speed, light brightness and colour temperature without needing a wall switch.

The white powder-coated metal frame weighs 5.3kg and mounts directly to a UK ceiling rose or joist-mounted fan bracket rated for at least 6kg. The 320mm total drop from ceiling to base of housing (450mm when blades are extended) makes it suitable for standard UK room heights without excessive projection. The 120-degree beam angle from the LED array spreads light across the ceiling plane for even ambient coverage, while the RGB ring adds a colour wash around the perimeter that can be used as decorative accent or left off entirely for functional white light only.

How is the fan speed and lighting controlled?

The Rafaga includes a remote control that adjusts fan speed (typically 3-6 variable speeds), LED brightness, colour temperature (3000K to 6500K) and RGB ring colour. No separate wall dimmer or fan controller is required.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 320mm drop from ceiling to base of housing when blades are retracted (450mm when blades are extended) works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. Lower ceilings may find the extended blades intrusive during fan operation.

How does the retractable blade mechanism work?

When the fan is off, the four blades fold inward and sit flush inside the circular housing. When the fan is activated, centrifugal force causes the blades to extend outward to their full 1060mm diameter. When the fan is switched off, they retract automatically as the motor stops.

Can the RGB lighting be turned off?

Yes. The RGB accent ring is independently controllable via the remote. You can run the main LED array on white light only (tuneable 3000K-6500K) with the RGB ring off, or use both together, or run RGB only with the main LED off.
