Description

The Rado is an 18W LED magnetic track spotlight with a 102mm diameter drum head finished in matt black aluminium. The integrated LED runs at 4000K neutral white on DC 48V low-voltage magnetic track systems, delivering focused task lighting through a white polycarbonate diffuser that softens the beam edge while maintaining brightness.

Designed for commercial retail, office task lighting and residential workspaces where repositionable accent lighting is needed, the Rado uses a magnetic mounting system that clips directly onto compatible magnetic track rails without tools. The head rotates 355° on its mount and tilts to direct the beam onto product displays, workbenches, kitchen worktops or gallery walls. The magnetic connection supplies both power and fixing, allowing the spotlight to be moved along the track and repositioned as layouts change.

The aluminium body dissipates heat efficiently, extending the LED lifespan beyond 30,000 hours under typical use. At 107mm height and 102mm diameter the Rado suits track systems mounted 2.5-3.5m above floor level, providing sufficient throw distance for accent and task lighting without visual intrusion. The matt black finish absorbs ambient light and pairs with industrial, contemporary and monochrome interiors. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor environments only.

What track system does this fit?

The Rado uses magnetic mounting and requires a DC 48V magnetic track rail system. It will not fit standard single-circuit or three-circuit mains-voltage track systems. Check your existing track specification before ordering, or contact us to confirm compatibility.

Can the spotlight be dimmed?

Dimming depends on the track system controller. Most DC 48V magnetic track systems support dimming through a compatible wall controller or remote. The spotlight itself does not include a built-in dimmer.

Is it suitable for bathroom or outdoor use?

No. The IP20 rating restricts the Rado to dry indoor environments only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens with heavy steam, or outdoor installation.

How is the spotlight repositioned on the track?

The magnetic mount allows the spotlight to be lifted off the track rail and repositioned anywhere along the rail length without tools. The magnetic connection supplies both power and fixing, so the light can be moved while the track remains live if care is taken.
