Description

The Rado is an 18W magnetic track spotlight with a white aluminium body housing an integrated 3000K LED and a frosted diffuser that spreads the beam evenly across surfaces. The spotlight clips onto 48V DC magnetic track systems without tools or fixed wiring — the magnetic connector on the back of the fitting locates onto the track rail and provides both power and mechanical retention.

Designed for retail accent lighting, gallery walls, kitchen worktop illumination and commercial spaces needing reconfigurable directional light, the Rado rotates through 355° on its axis and tilts to direct the beam where needed. The magnetic mounting allows the spotlight to be repositioned along the track length at any time without switching off the circuit, making it straightforward to adjust lighting layouts as room use or product displays change.

The 102mm diameter head projects approximately 107mm from the track when fitted, and the frosted diffuser softens the light output to reduce glare on reflective surfaces and screens. The white finish on the aluminium body suits light-toned ceilings and minimalist interiors where visible track lighting is part of the design scheme. The 18W output and 3000K colour temperature provide warm accent light rather than full ambient room lighting.

The IP20 rating confines use to dry indoor locations. The 5-year warranty from Maytoni covers manufacturing defects in the LED module and housing but does not cover damage from incorrect installation or use on incompatible track systems.

What track system does this spotlight fit?

The Rado uses a magnetic connector designed for 48V DC magnetic track systems. It is not compatible with standard mains-voltage track lighting or three-circuit track rails. Check that your existing or planned track system operates on 48V DC with magnetic attachment before ordering.

Can the spotlight be repositioned once installed?

Yes. The magnetic connector allows the spotlight to be moved along the track length without tools or switching off the power supply. This makes it straightforward to reconfigure lighting layouts as room use changes.

What beam angle does it provide?

The frosted diffuser spreads the 18W LED output across a wide beam suitable for accent lighting and general illumination of displays or work surfaces. For the exact beam angle specification, see the product manual in the Downloads tab.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming capability depends on the magnetic track system and its power supply. Some 48V DC track systems support dimming via a compatible controller; others do not. Consult your track system manufacturer to confirm dimmer compatibility before installation.
