It joins two sections of magnetic track rail end-to-end, maintaining power continuity across the connection while keeping the track profile consistent. Used in track lighting installations where two rails need to meet in a straight line, the short adaptor handles both the mechanical connection and the electrical feed without requiring additional wiring or junction boxes. Installation is tool-free: the adaptor clips into the channel on each track section and the magnetic connection locks it in place.
