The Radisson is a ceramic vase sculpted as a stylised face, with a simple brow and nose standing out in relief from a smooth matt terracotta body. Two gold loop handles curve out at either side like ears, and the head rests on a flared pedestal foot, which gives this small piece a real sculptural presence. It stands 17.5cm tall, 15cm long and 8.5cm wide, with an opening of 7.5cm and a capacity of 0.6 litres, so it is sized for a modest bunch of stems rather than an armful of branches.
