Description

The Radiara is a 36W constant current LED driver outputting 700mA with 1-10V dimming control, housed in a white plastic enclosure measuring 167mm × 41mm. The driver regulates current rather than voltage, maintaining a stable 700mA output regardless of LED load variations within its rated capacity, which extends LED lifespan and prevents flicker under dimming.

Designed for residential, office and retail installations where LED strip, panel or downlight circuits need central dimming control, the driver accepts a standard 1-10V analogue control signal from compatible wall dimmers or lighting management systems. Dimming range is typically 10-100%, with smooth transitions across the range and no visible stepping. The IP20 rating means the driver must be installed in a dry, indoor location such as above a ceiling void or within a control cabinet.

The 167mm length and 41mm depth allow the driver to fit within most UK ceiling voids and partition cavities without requiring a dedicated driver box. Built-in protections guard against over-temperature, short circuit and open circuit conditions, shutting down the output safely if a fault is detected. The 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux covers manufacturing defects and component failure under normal operating conditions.
