Description

The Radiance is a 121cm linear pendant light built from slender aluminium rods arranged in an asymmetric geometric pattern, finished in satin gold and housing an integrated 50W LED module at 3000K. The rods are paired with silicone diffusers that soften the LED output into a warm ambient wash rather than directional task light.

Designed for installation above dining tables and kitchen islands in rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.1m, the Radiance hangs on a 3-metre adjustable cable that allows the light to be positioned 110-310cm from the ceiling. At minimum drop the fitting sits approximately 1.8m from floor level, suitable for standard 2.4m ceiling heights. The 54.3cm width and linear form factor make it particularly suited to rectangular tables and island worktops where a single pendant would create uneven coverage.

The gold finish is a satin rather than polished treatment, reducing reflections under daylight and working with both warm and neutral interior palettes. The aluminium construction keeps the overall weight manageable for plasterboard ceilings with standard fixings. The geometric rod arrangement creates visual interest when viewed from different angles, with the angled supports giving the fitting depth rather than presenting as a flat bar. The IP20 rating limits installation to dry indoor environments.

Is the Radiance dimmable?

The integrated 50W LED module is compatible with most mains dimmers designed for LED loads. Dimmer performance varies by model, so test compatibility before installation or contact us for confirmed compatible dimmer recommendations.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 3-metre cable adjusts from 110cm to 310cm drop. For dining tables or kitchen islands the light typically hangs 70-80cm above the surface, which requires a minimum ceiling height of approximately 2.4m. Higher ceilings up to 3.1m can use the full cable length.

What size table does it suit?

The 121cm length suits rectangular dining tables from 160cm to 220cm long and kitchen islands from 180cm to 240cm. For tables shorter than 160cm the light may overhang; for tables longer than 240cm consider pairing two Radiance fittings or choosing a different light.

Can the cable length be shortened permanently?

Yes. The cable can be cut to a fixed length during installation if the adjustable feature is not needed. This requires basic electrical work and should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
