Description

The Rada is an 85/110mm clip-on lampshade with a white pleated fabric body and crystal bead trim running along the top and bottom edges. The shade clips directly onto the bulb holder of a candle or golf ball bulb without requiring a separate fitting frame, making it a drop-in replacement for existing shades on chandeliers, wall lights and table lamps.

Designed for chandeliers with multiple arms or wall sconces where individual shades soften the light source, the Rada suits both traditional crystal chandeliers and more contemporary multi-arm fittings. The pleated fabric diffuses light evenly while the white tone maximises brightness in the room. The crystal beads catch and refract light when the bulb is on, adding subtle sparkle without dominating the shade's profile.

The shade measures 85mm at the top opening, flaring to 110mm at the base, with a height of 110mm. The clip-on fitting grips bulbs with a standard candle or golf ball shape and supports bulbs up to 40W — for LED equivalents this translates to around 4-6W LED output. Can it be used on a table lamp?

Yes, if the table lamp uses a candle or golf ball bulb. The shade clips directly onto the bulb itself rather than the lamp holder, so the lamp must expose the bulb shape for the clip to grip securely.

How is the shade cleaned?

The pleated fabric can be dusted with a soft brush or dry microfibre cloth. For deeper cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the fabric. The crystal beads can be wiped gently with a damp cloth and dried immediately.
