Description
The Knightsbridge quad USB charger outlet provides four USB-A charging ports behind a polished brass screwless faceplate with a white insert. The outlet delivers 5V DC at 5.1A total shared output, with one port dedicated to 2.1A for tablet and fast-charge devices, and the remaining three ports sharing 3A. The charger mounts into a standard 25mm minimum back box and connects to mains power via standard wiring terminals.
Designed for hotel rooms, offices, student accommodation and family kitchens where multiple devices need charging simultaneously, the charger eliminates the need for plug adaptors and power strips. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, leaving no visible fixings on the wall once installed. The polished brass finish pairs with traditional and warm-toned contemporary interiors, and the white insert behind the brass faceplate hides the back of the cover and defines the USB port apertures.
The outlet is certified to BS EN 60670 and EN 60950-1, with EMC certification and ErP compliance. The charger detects connected devices and distributes output across the four ports, so plugging a single device into the 2.1A port delivers the full 2.1A, while connecting four devices simultaneously shares the 5.1A total across all four ports. The 201 stainless steel construction provides durability under daily use, and the built-in gasket seals the faceplate edge to the wall.

Frequently Asked
What's the maximum charging speed?
The outlet provides 5V DC at 5.1A total shared across all four ports. One port is dedicated to 2.1A (suitable for tablets and fast-charge phones), while the other three ports share 3A. If you plug a single device into the 2.1A port, it receives the full 2.1A. Connecting four devices simultaneously distributes the 5.1A total across all ports.
What back box depth is required?
A 25mm minimum back box depth is needed, though 35mm is recommended where wiring conditions require extra space. The screwless cover plate adds 4.3mm projection from the wall once fitted.
Can I charge USB-C devices?
The outlet provides four USB-A ports. USB-C devices can be charged using a USB-A to USB-C cable. For native USB-C charging, consider Knightsbridge's dual USB-A and USB-C socket models.
Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?
Yes. The polished brass cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting around the outlet and re-clipped without re-wiring.
