Description

The Pure is a 190mm cylindrical LED pendant designed for Ideal Lux's Ego magnetic track system, housing an integrated 12W 3000K LED inside a matt black extruded aluminium body. The pendant attaches magnetically to the track, allowing it to be repositioned along the track run without re-wiring or switching off the circuit. The downward-facing aperture directs light onto worktops, dining tables, or retail display zones.

Designed for modular track lighting installations in kitchens, offices, retail interiors and hospitality spaces, the Pure suits ceiling-mounted, suspended, or recessed track configurations. The magnetic connection supplies both power and physical attachment, so individual pendants can be added, moved, or removed as the room layout changes. The 1130mm cable drop allows the pendant to be suspended over kitchen islands or dining tables in rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights.

The extruded aluminium construction keeps the 190mm x 40mm cylinder lightweight while maintaining rigidity, and the matt black powder-coat finish pairs with both industrial and contemporary interiors. The 12W LED output at 3000K provides warm-white task light suitable for food preparation, reading, or close-work zones. The pendant carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor use and is backed by Ideal Lux's 5-year warranty.

Does this pendant work with standard ceiling roses?

No. The Pure is designed exclusively for Ideal Lux's Ego magnetic track system. The pendant attaches magnetically to the powered track and cannot be fitted to a standard UK ceiling rose or junction box.

Can the pendant be repositioned once installed?

Yes. The magnetic attachment allows the pendant to be moved along the track run without switching off the circuit or re-wiring. This makes it suitable for spaces where lighting needs change over time.

Is the integrated LED replaceable?

The LED is integrated into the pendant housing and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 30,000 hours of operation, which equates to around 10 years of typical domestic use. Ideal Lux provides a 5-year warranty on the complete fitting.

What track configurations does it suit?

The Pure works with Ego track in ceiling-mounted, suspended, or recessed installations. Multiple pendants can be added to a single track run, with spacing determined by the layout of the room and the task areas that need direct light.
